This gives me the best support of anything I've tried, it even gives me support for the hernias I have. It wraps around my back and helps support it. I haven't used the over the shoulder part so I'm unsure about that. I've had it a couple of months and just ordered a second one. One I will keep clean for going to town, and one for the remodeling and yard work I am doing..Good product for my condition.Was offered this exact same brace at my orthopedics for 800 WITH INSURANCE.Asked if I could by direct with no insurance and the price was 500 and something.Bought from Amazon for half the price.Downside….it only stabilizing the lumbar region. I don’t feel it is stabilizing my Thoracic area where I have some fractures.Also, the “stetchiness” is starting to wear out about a month into wearing it. However, I am really hard on clothing and protective items as I am outside sweating a lot.I say it’s worth the money. Although wish there was a product to stabilizeThe thoracic region.I am very happy brace is adjustable. The one I was given at the hospital was not adjustable and overall fit was not even close to what I needed. TLSO full back brace can be adjusted around body and also will adjust when sitting so you do not have your neck jammed around your throat. Previous brace was tossed in the dumpster, the bill was over $800.00. Now look at the price your paying for a better design and more comfort. I am also able to put this on and take off without help. My neurosurgeon office asked me to send them information so other patients would also have options.The brace is good if you r tall and slim.. if you have a belly, it rides up on you. My husband has a medical brace that is hard for his spine. This would have been good but my husband has a belly and it rides up when he gets up from the wheelchair.Got this for my mom who had a collapsed vertebrae and could barely move due to the extreme pain she was experiencing. She said this back brace has been miraculous and now she’s even off pain meds, just a week after starting to wear it! She says she feels really supported in it and now is able to move much more without excruciating pain.Perfect brace to address pain and transfer the load to lower back. I have another one that didn’t go up as far, so it didn’t work as I needed.Just remember, don’t wear these things all day. My doctor said no more than 4 hrs, otherwise you will get pain in other parts of the body as things get pinched and compressed.I suffer for low lubricant in my lower back jointsThere’s nothing for my case ,pain medication Doesn’t do nothing , just rest but this brace really works to keep me stray giving me great support and faster recovery, Normally will take me six months to recover with this brace took me two months I highly recommend it
